About this event

A career coaching conversation can help you to understand more about yourself, who you are and what is important to you. It is a space which allows for new ways of thinking and creates options and possibilities to help you improve your situation or simply appreciate what you have.

Career coaching is particularly beneficial for people who have reached a crossroads in their career, are feeling “stuck” or unfulfilled in their current role, are disappointed that they aren’t where they hoped they would be professionally .

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

Gain a different perspective on your career options

● Create a plan to help you get a new job

● Feel like you are in control of your career and choices

● Gain clarity on your transferable skills and strengths

● Remain calm and be the best you can at interview

Career Coach: Elizabeth Adams, She/ Her

Elizabeth is a coach and consultant with over 15 years' experience in researcher development. Her main focus is on academic leadership / career coaching and research culture.

She has also worked as an innovation consultant, brokering partnerships between large engineering companies and SMEs or researchers, running educational projects for the Royal Society of Chemistry and as an analytical chemist in the Pharma industry.
